Control Lever Standard FAQ
Peel back the bracket cover from the top and tighten the screw next to the one securing the cable clip (the red screw in the image) by 45 to 90 degrees clockwise.
Then check if the lever operates normally.
※Do not turn the screw more than 90 degrees.
For both the left and right levers, please tighten the screw clockwise.
If the issue does not improve even after tightening 90 degrees, return the screw to its original position and contact the store where you purchased the product.

No, it is not possible to eliminate the play.
Lever A/B uses a clutch mechanism for operation, and a certain amount of play is necessary to allow for its switching function.
This occurs because the friction nut is not tightened enough, and the friction force on the lever side is insufficient to counteract the tension pulling the derailleur cable back.
Please refer to section 6-5 “Friction Nut Adjustment” in the user manual and tighten the friction nut accordingly.
If any oil or lubricant enters the inside of the lever body, the clutches in lever A/B may slip, causing malfunction. When applying lubricant to brake or shift cables, do not spray it directly onto the lever body. Instead, apply the lubricant to a cloth and then rub it onto the cable, or apply it before installing the lever. Please exercise caution.
For additional precautions, please refer to the user manual.
When installing the shift cable, make sure to press Lever B all the way down, so that the cable is in its most relaxed position. Then, tension the cable from that state.
