When operating the derailleur with Lever A, it immediately returns to its original position.

This occurs because the friction nut is not tightened enough, and the friction force on the lever side is insufficient to counteract the tension pulling the derailleur cable back.

Please refer to section 6-5 “Friction Nut Adjustment” in the user manual and tighten the friction nut accordingly.
