EQUAL Control Lever for Dropper Seatpost
A dropper seatpost-compatible version of the Control Lever is here.
Its name says it all: the Control Lever for Dropper Seatpost.
With just a press of your thumb, your ride becomes even more enjoyable.
With the Control Lever for Dropper Seatpost, dropper seatposts will evolve
from being “nice to have” to “absolutely essential.”

What is a dropper seatpost?
A dropper seatpost is a seatpost that allows you to change saddle height while riding using a lever.
By leveraging this feature, you can keep the saddle high for efficient pedaling on flat terrain and climbs, and lower it on descents to increase body mobility and ensure stable riding.
While primarily designed for mountain bikes and gravel bikes, dropper seatposts have recently gained attention for their usefulness on road bikes as well.
Adjust your saddle height with just your thumb.
The EQUAL Control Lever for Dropper Seatpost features a lever positioned at the bracket, allowing you to operate the dropper seatpost while maintaining your grip on the bracket.
This enables smooth saddle height adjustment even in sudden situations during your ride.
When you encounter an unexpected downhill on a new route, you can quickly lower the saddle and ride with confidence.
Features
A sleek, integrated bracket design.
The lever for operating the dropper seatpost is built into the bracket itself, giving your bike a clean and refined look.
No external remote lever is required, and pairing it with an internally routed handlebar creates an even more streamlined appearance.
Compatible with most dropper seatposts
The system is designed so that the inner cable’s barrel end hooks onto the seatpost side and is fixed on the lever side.
Since this configuration is used by many manufacturers, it is compatible with most dropper seatposts.
It can also be used with models that fix the barrel end on the lever side.
Includes a specially developed cable set.
To ensure smooth and comfortable operation of your dropper seatpost, we developed a dedicated cable set in addition to the lever itself.
It features a 3mm outer cable—1mm thinner than the standard 4mm—and a 1mm inner cable, 0.2mm thinner than the usual 1.2mm type.
This combination provides excellent flexibility, allowing smooth movement even when routed internally through narrow frames such as those made of chromoly steel.
Dropper-specific barrel shape
The dedicated inner cable features a uniquely curved barrel end, unlike standard designs.
This curve ensures that the barrel always aligns with the pulling direction of the cable, preventing bending or stress at the base.
Such attention to detail is possible precisely because it was designed specifically for dropper seatpost use.
Easy Fine Handlebar Adjustment
The dedicated cable can be extended using the included 3mm outer cable connector. This allows you to adjust to changes—such as replacing your stem with a longer one—without redoing the entire internal cable routing. You only need to adjust the cable length between the 3mm outer cable connector and the lever.
Lightweight
The combination of a carbon lever body and a dedicated cable set that is approximately 35% lighter than standard helps reduce weight. This makes bikes equipped with a dropper seatpost feel significantly lighter and more agile.
Grip That Feels Just Right
No matter how functional a lever is, poor ergonomics can ruin the experience.
We paid close attention to tactile elements that can’t be measured—like how naturally the bracket fits in your hand or how your fingers rest on the lever.
From the very first touch, it feels right in your hand. That’s the comfort we designed for.
