New Specification Release: “EQUAL Mechanical Disc Brake Caliper” with Kashima Coat
GROWTAC is pleased to announce the release of the Kashima Coat specification for the “EQUAL Mechanical Disc Brake Caliper.”
Kashima Coat is a high-performance surface treatment based on hard anodizing, enhanced with molybdenum disulfide as a solid lubricant to reduce friction and improve wear resistance.
In the bicycle industry, it has been widely used in demanding applications such as MTB suspension components, where continuous sliding and contact occur, and is known for its proven reliability in harsh riding conditions.
As Kashima Coat is designed for functionality rather than decoration, subtle variations in color tone and appearance may occur between individual parts. No two pieces share exactly the same finish, and this unique character is also part of what defines the appeal of Kashima Coat.
